Plymouth College 55 (14.4 overs). DD 56 for 1 (9.4 overs) DD won by 9 wkts.
Under warm sunshine, Dumplings fielded first and the College were soon in trouble on
what proved to be a tricky wicket. They lost Sam Ford on the first ball of the game, caught
behind by Iain Cunningham. There soon followed a procession of batters heading back to the
pavilion, all but one being bowled, mainly with their middle stump knocked over. In contrast
Captain Matt Whalley managed to score 23 with relative ease.
Dumplings secured victory by 9 wickets when Old Boy James Webb hit a 6. James
Ewen was the only wicket lost having been stumped by Beth Hall.
Before the match, Matt Witcher presented two new juniors with Dumplings caps- James
Webb and Lewie Harrison.
